MyownDomain is a personal website creation service. We provide:

• A free preview of your AI-generated personal website based on information you provide
• The ability to download and own your website upon payment
• A guided walkthrough for setting up your own custom domain

The free preview is provided at no cost. To download and own your website, a one-time payment or subscription is required.

3. Your Content and Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for the content you provide to generate your website. By submitting content, you represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the right to use all content you submit, including photos and text
• Your content does not violate any third-party rights, including intellectual property or privacy rights
• Your content is accurate and does not contain false, misleading, or defamatory statements
• Your content does not contain illegal material or violate any applicable laws

You retain ownership of all content you provide. By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to use it solely for the purpose of generating and displaying your personal website.

4. Payments and Refunds

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By making a payment, you agree to Stripe's terms of service.

• One-time payment: Grants you a permanent license to download and use your generated website. Non-refundable after download.
• Monthly/Yearly subscription: Renews automatically. You may cancel at any time. No refunds for partial billing periods.
• Refund policy: If you have not yet downloaded your website, you may request a full refund within 7 days of purchase by contacting us at [email protected].

We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time. Existing subscriptions will be notified of price changes at least 30 days in advance.

5. Intellectual Property

The MyownDomain platform, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the platform without our written permission.

The personal website generated for you is yours. Upon payment, you receive a full license to use, modify, host, and distribute your generated website for any lawful purpose. We do not retain any rights to your generated website after delivery.

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Create websites impersonating another person without their consent
• Submit false or misleading information about yourself or others
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse our platform
• Create content that is hateful, harassing, or harmful to others

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the generated websites will meet your specific requirements. The quality and accuracy of AI-generated content may vary.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyownDomain shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms of Service. You may stop using the Service at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases, but you retain ownership of any website you have already downloaded.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.
